January 1, 2010 Fretboard Drawing

I always start a guitar plan by drawing the fretboard.
So I made this "Fretboard" webpage, coded in PHP, that automatically draws a fretboard according to a couple of parameters.
The resulting drawing is in SVG format and can be edited, and also exported to DXF, using the great free software Inkscape.

February 27, 2008 Gibson L-00 (1940)

November 15, 2007 OM size acoustic guitar

This is a plan of an OM acoustic guitar ( Orchestra Model ). I drew the bracing according to the information I could grab on the web about 30's Martin guitars.
v1.1 : Some minor fixes and the fingerboard width is reduced from 57 to 54 mm at the 12th fret.

March 02, 2007 Soprano ukulele

This plan was made after a Martin ukulele from the 40's. But I have no idea of the real neck to body joint, so I drew a dovetail mortise and tenon.

My first acoustic guitar plan. Really easy to play, thanks to its small body size and short scale neck.
